Limited Warranty Terms & Conditions
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Ucfilms International (UC PPF) warrants to the original purchaser that its Paint Protection Film products, when professionally installed by an authorized installer, will:
Product Performance
- Maintain structural integrity without cracking, peeling, or crazing.
- Maintain adhesion properties without bubbling, blistering, or delamination.
- Maintain surface appearance without significant discoloration.
Warranty Coverage
If proven defective under normal use and proper maintenance, UC PPF will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective film (material only), limited to the affected area.
This warranty is:
- Valid only for the original purchaser.
- Non-transferable.
- Effective from the date of installation.
Applicable Only When
- Installed by authorized installers.
- Applied on OEM painted surfaces.
Warranty Remedy
Defective film, when approved under this warranty, will be replaced at UC PPF’s sole discretion. Coverage is limited to the affected area and material only.
ANTI-YELLOWING WARRANTY
UC PPF provides 7 Years Anti-Yellowing Warranty on UC Pro+ Series.
Only abnormal or excessive yellowing is considered a defect.
Not Covered
- Minor fading due to environmental exposure.
- Yellowing caused by chemicals or improper maintenance.
SELF-HEALING & HYDROPHOBIC PERFORMANCE
Selected UC PPF films will deliver:
- Self-Healing / Instant Self-Healing — Minor scratches disappear with heat (sunlight/hot water). Instant self-healing works under normal ambient conditions.
- Hydrophobic Properties — Water beading, easier cleaning and reduced dirt adhesion.
Note: Performance may reduce over time due to usage and environmental factors.
MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES (IMPORTANT)
To maintain warranty validity:
- Avoid harsh chemicals or strong cleaning agents.
- Do not use abrasive polishes or rubbing compounds.
- Avoid high-pressure washing for first 15 days.
- Use only pH-neutral shampoos.
- Avoid rough cloths or aggressive scrubbing.
- Clean contaminants (bird droppings, sap, etc.) immediately.
Failure to follow these guidelines may void the warranty.
ADHESIVE RESIDUE WARRANTY
Film will not leave significant adhesive residue when removed properly.
Excessive residue under normal conditions will be considered a valid claim.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
- Covers film material only (labor/installation not included).
- Applies only to the original vehicle.
- Not applicable on repainted/refinished surfaces.
- UC PPF is not liable for damage caused by accidents, misuse, or environmental factors.
Removal of PPF may cause paint damage (especially on weak/repainted surfaces); UC PPF is not responsible.
Dealers/installers are not authorized to modify this warranty.
NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
This warranty does NOT cover:
Damage & Service
- Accidents, collisions, or external impact.
- Improper washing or maintenance.
- Environmental damage (acid rain, fire, sap, etc.).
- Extreme weather conditions.
- Improper installation or unauthorized service.
Surface & Product
- Repainted surfaces or paint defects.
- Product modification or tampering.
- Abrasive cleaning or polishing.
- Exposure to excessive heat or chemicals.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
Claims must be initiated through authorized UC PPF dealer.
Submit Claim
Claims must be initiated through an authorized UC PPF dealer.
Documents
Proof of purchase and warranty ID required.
Inspection
Inspection of the affected area is mandatory.
Replacement
If approved, defective film will be replaced. Labor cost, if any, will be borne by the customer.
Claims must be reported within a reasonable time after detection.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
UC PPF shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Loss of time, profit, or vehicle use.
- Damage to paint, vehicle parts, or surroundings.
- Any claim exceeding product purchase value.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Yellowing coverage may apply only to selected premium series.
- Some product lines may have specific exclusions.
- Coverage varies by product category.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- All disputes subject to arbitration.
- Location: Delhi.
- Decision will be final and binding.
LIMITED WARRANTY & REMEDY
This warranty is the sole remedy available. All implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness) are limited to the applicable warranty period.
Replacement does not extend the warranty period.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Minor edge lifting due to contamination is not covered.
- Only defective portion will be repaired/replaced.
- Warranty becomes void after film removal.
- Warranty becomes void after vehicle sale.
